A press release recently published on PR Newswire, promoting the Shades of Marketing Tour, a three-city professional development event hosted by the Black Marketers Association of America.

I created this press release for Black Marketers Association of America to promote their Atlanta event, the first stop on their professional development and networking event tour. BMAA is a nonprofit organization that empowers, elevates, and educates Black Marketers in all stages of their marketing careers by highlighting and supporting their careers as employees, freelancers, and business owners.

A blog post providing tips on how to be an ally in the workplace to keep Black employees engaged and feeling supported.

Through research on how diversity, equity, inclusion, and allyships impact Black professionals in the workplace, I wrote this blog post for Black Marketers Association of America (BMAA). A Crisis Communications Plan for Uber.

I collaborated with classmates and created this crisis communications plan for a University of Maryland Global Campus course. In this scenario, I am an assistant account executive at Parabolic Communications, a strategic communications consulting agency with many clients in the government, nonprofit, and corporate economic sectors. My assignment was to work with my Parabolic team to create a comprehensive crisis communications plan for Uber. This plan includes strategies and tactics to effectively address three potential crises faced by the organization: Social Media Slander, Sexual Assault Allegations, and Unfair Wages Allegations.

A Legal and Ethical Guidelines document to provide response guidance to a company during a crisis.

This legal and ethical compliance document is an annex created as part of Uber's fictional crisis communications plan in my University of Maryland Global Campus course. My assignment was to work with my Parabolic team to create a comprehensive crisis communications plan for Uber. This plan includes strategies and tactics to effectively address three potential crises faced by the organization: Social Media Slander, Sexual Assault Allegations, and Unfair Wages Allegations.

A news release for the results of an education study.

I wrote this news release for a University of Maryland Global Campus course. In this scenario, I am an assistant account executive at Parabolic Communications, a strategic communications consulting agency with many clients in the government, nonprofit, and corporate economic sectors. My assignment was to create a news release for the agency's new client, the Commission on Public Relations Education (CPRE). CPRE is concerned about the state of writing in the communications field (and in the general US population) and wants to re-release the results of a 2009 study. My assignment was to prepare a news release on the study's results.

I wrote this backgrounder for a University of Maryland Global Campus course. In this scenario, as an assistant account executive at Parabolic Communications, a strategic communications consulting agency with a wide range of clients in the government, nonprofit, and corporate economic sectors. My assignment was to create an op-ed, pitch letter, and pitch proposal to USAToday on behalf of the agency's new client, the Commission on Public Relations Education (CPRE). CPRE to gain support from industry partners and nonprofits to fund an upcoming study on writing in the United States.

I revised and expanded this communications plan for a University of Maryland Global Campus course. In this scenario, as an assistant account executive at Parabolic Communications, a strategic communications consulting agency with a wide range of clients in the government, nonprofit, and corporate economic sectors. My assignment was to revise a communications plan for NazarOps Technology, planning their media strategy to promote their Tactical Simulation System product for the U.S. Department of Defense Infantry Training Simulator contract.
